Room occupied every 14/07 by locals for a meal. 3rd weekend of July: municipal festival, grounds of the gîte used on the Saturday of the municipal festival, for boules competitions. What could be more invigorating than a stay in a rural gîte in the middle of Thiérache? Take your pilgrim's staff and crisscross the typical villages in search of small treasures such as wash houses, producers of maroilles, cider, fortified churches... And above all don't forget to visit the one in the village.
Walk in the forest 1 km from the gîte and fishing pond 5 km away (town of Plomion). Vervins, capital of Thiérache, stronghold of Maroilles cheese, 10 km; Familistère de Guise 35 km, Laon (Paris 2024 preparation center) 46 km, Saint-Quentin 59 km, Charleville-Mézières 64 km.
